The purpose of this memo is to provide an overview of ways in which states can leverage the EPA Greenhouse Reduction Fund’s (GGRF) new climate finance tools – specifically the $20 billion funding awards announced on April 4, 2024 through the GGRF’s National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF) and Clean Communities Investment Accelerator (CCIA) competitions, and the $7B across 60 awards made through the GGRF’s Solar for All (SFA) program announced on April 22, 2024.
