In the fifth event of the “Overcoming Challenges and Seizing Opportunities: Implementing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law” series, the Bipartisan Policy Center, National Association of Counties, and National League of Cities will host U.S. Forest Service Chief Randy Moore and Interior Department Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator Winnie Stachelberg to discuss their efforts to implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
The BIL represents a generational opportunity to invest in improving the quality of our nation’s federal public lands and reducing risks from floods, droughts, and fires. Both the Interior Department and Forest Service received significant BIL funding to address these pressing needs and have begun approving projects to meet these goals.
