Join experts from the US Loan Programs Office (LPO), state green banks, the Center for Public Enterprise (CPE), and RMI for a view into the State Energy Financing Institution (SEFI) program. Presenters will offer insights into how states can benefit from the program, what the LPO’s considerations are in making determinations for financing, and what states that are leveraging the program have learned about community engagement.
RMI will present an introduction of their new SEFI Program Playbook for States, which was developed for state energy offices, green banks, state finance authorities, governor’s offices, economic development offices, and other entities or staff seeking to leverage private and federal capital for large infrastructure projects.
CPE will present its deep dive into how states can aggregate smaller projects into lager LPO-accessible portfolios through special purpose vehicle structures.
A third of the webinar will be devoted to information about the program; a third will be a dive into program implementation; and a third will be devoted to answering guests’ questions. Attendees will leave with a strong foundation to begin the process for leveraging these energy resources to benefit their communities.
Speakers will include representatives from RMI, CPE, State Support Center, LPO, and the states of Pennsylvania and Arizona.
