The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) has announced the opening of their Fiscal Year 2022 Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grants and there has never been a better time for trail and active transportation projects to apply.

Join Rails-to-Trails Conservancy and learn how to secure a grant of up to $25 million for your trail network. In this webinar, Rails-to-Trails will highlight the evolving priorities, criteria and considerations to help your proposal stand out from the crowd.

Patrick Wojahn, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy’s director of government relations, will host a panel of recent RAISE recipients as they discuss their projects and tips for successful applications.

Panelists include Sara Maier, Cleveland Metroparks’ senior strategic park planner, Lonny Boring, St. Louis, Missouri’s Great Rivers Greenway’s senior project manager, and Ned Barret and Pat Votava, who played key roles in the successful application for the Spartanburg County Multi-Modal Project in South Carolina.
