On January 27, 2023, FTA announced the availability of nearly $1.7 billion in Fiscal Year 2023 funding to support state and local efforts to buy or modernize buses, improve bus facilities, and support workforce development. This funding opportunity covers FTA’s Low or No Emission Program and Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program.

FTA will host two webinars on February 16 and 28 to provide information to potential applicants, including a review of program eligibility, an overview of the evaluation criteria and selection considerations, and the submission process. Potential applicants may attend either webinar. The first webinar on February 16 from 1:00 -2:30 pm EST will be a general session for all applicants. The second webinar on February 28 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm EST will include a Q/A session focused on questions from rural and tribal applicants.
