DOE Home Energy Rebate Listening Session: Equity-Focused Implementors and Advocacy Organizations

Loading Events

This listening session, hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is designed for equity-focused implementors and advocacy organizations that work to support low-income households and disadvantaged communities. Such organizations include, but are not limited to, affordable housing providers, mission-driven energy efficiency providers that deliver retrofit projects for low-income households, and advocacy organizations pushing for greater access for housing and clean energy programs.

Through this session, DOE hopes to learn more about which program design choices can help make the forthcoming home energy rebate programs easily accessible and equitable for low-income households and residents of disadvantaged communities. DOE also would like to know how states, territories, American Indian tribes, and the federal government can best work with equity-focused organizations to promote and execute the delivery of home energy upgrades through these rebate programs.
