MOVES (the MOtor Vehicle Emissions Simulator) is a state-of-the-science model designed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to estimate air pollution emissions from mobile sources in the United States. MOVES can be used to estimate exhaust and evaporative emissions as well as brake and tire wear emissions from all types of onroad vehicles. MOVES can also be used to estimate emissions from many kinds of nonroad equipment.
