The BlueGreen Alliance released a new report on how to revitalize U.S. aluminum manufacturing to meet the growing needs of the clean energy economy. Aluminum is used in solar panels, EVs, and other clean energy technologies. The new report describes how the IRA offers an opportunity to expand U.S. aluminum manufacturing while building stronger supply chains for clean energy, reducing global industrial emissions, creating good jobs for hard-hit workers, and supporting cleaner air and economic restoration for industrial communities.
