The “Disaster Relief Fund” Provides $1 billion over 5 years for the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program authorized under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act. The program makes grants available to States, U.S territories, Federally recognized Tribal governments, and local communities for hazard mitigation and resilience. Federal cost share of 75 percent, up to 90 percent for economically disadvantaged rural communities.
